Course and Lesson Prices

I offer competitively priced lesson packages to suit all budgets, including:

• Pay as you Drive: 1 Hour - 25
• Advanced Instruction: 45 minutes - 22
• Motorway Driving: 120 minutes (2 hours) - 60
• Belfast City Centre Driving: 120 minutes (2 hours) - 60
• Refresher Training: 180 minutes (3 hours) - 90

Licence Requirements

Before you can start learning to drive, you need to apply for a provisional driving licence. You can apply for your provisional driving licence by completing the DL1 application form, which is available from main Post Office branches or MOT test centres. You will need to enclose original documentation confirming your identity, a passport-style colour photograph, and the appropriate fee. You can expect to receive your driving licence within three weeks of submitting your application.

Once you have your provisional driving licence, you can start learning to drive with a qualified and experienced driving instructor. At David Sproule Driving School, I will help you to prepare for both your theory and practical tests, ensuring that you have the knowledge and skills you need to pass your test first time.

The theory test is a computer-based test that consists of two parts: the multiple-choice question section and the hazard perception test. To pass the multiple-choice question section, you must answer at least 43 out of 50 questions correctly. To pass the hazard perception test, you must score at least 44 out of 75. You must pass both parts of the test to obtain a theory test certificate.

Once you have passed your theory test, you can book your practical driving test. The practical test is designed to assess your driving skills and knowledge. During the test, you will be asked to perform a series of manoeuvres, including reversing, parallel parking, and independent driving. You will also be asked to answer questions about the vehicle you are driving and the rules of the road.
